East Sussex College is the new name for the merger of Sussex Downs College and Sussex Coast College. The new College has over 18,000 students studying on academic and professional & technical qualifications. Over 1,000 international students study at East Sussex College across the main three campuses in Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings. The most recent British Council inspection of Lewes and Eastbourne campuses in 2018 awarded 13 areas of strength out of a possible 15.
